Description

A view of the Buildings in St Mark’s Square in Venice as the moon is rising. The gondola has been secured for the night and the gondolier is heading home.

I used just three colours on this painting, plus black and white, to create a unity between the foreground, middle ground and sky in the background.

This painting is not framed but is ready to hang. The sides are one and a half inches wide and are painted in Payne’s Grey, a dark grey/blue colour.
